He was an Australian Paralympic athlete and one of the Paralympic movement’s pioneers. Marsh won two bronze medals at the 1976 Toronto Paralympic Games. He was also a former rugby player for Wests Rugby League Club in Brisbane but he broke his neck during a match and became a quadriplegic. This unfortunate accident occurred in 1970.
